How long have you owned this vehicle?
For over 35 years.
Where did you get this vehicle?
I bought the vehicle from a friend and drove it for many years until the engine oil turn into a “milkshake”.
What condition was the vehicle in when you got it?
The car was in original condition when I purchased it.
What work have you done on this vehicle?
This was an off frame restoration.
Is there any additional work that you would like to do?
I need to put different exhaust or re-position it. My wife said it is to noisy to ride in for a long period of time. I am also looking to put in a electric power brake booster but first I need to figure out where I can, mount the booster.
What were the hardest parts to find?
None really everyone I order stuff from was very helpful, still looking for interior visors and bracket.
What other vehicles do you own?
Between my wife and myself nothing really old except the 68 Camaro which I ran Super Pro until last year by son Scott now runs it.
I drive a 2006 Chevy SSR, my recently bought a 2013 Cadillac XTS, pull the race trailer with a 2004 GMC Dually with a 8.1 liter and on a day to day I drive a 95 Chevy Pickup.
What is your next project?
I turned 75 this year and would like to just finish what needs to done on “my baby” so I can enjoy driving it.
Do you have any advice for people thinking about doing a restoration project?
If you want to do something like I did don’t wait, start now life is too short.
